9/05
In Cold Blood by Truman Capote
although it was for school (AP Lang & Comp), i still liked it (5/5). based on a true story, it's about a small town's first murder & the extent to which the people go (and then carry out) the mystery. it's one of the most beautifully written pieces  and if you read behind the lines, you get the real message Capote is trying to tell about the law and the well-debatable death penalty. slowly, by flipping through each page, you grow into one with the characters, sympathizing (and in my case) loving them all.

I like to hear when people enjoy classic books because sometimes they are just painful to read. I might just have to check this one out!
